Shannon holds an MA in Counselling Psychotherapy from Yorkville University, as well as a Bachelors in Family and Child Development with a minor in Psychology from the University of Western. Shannon is a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the CRPO, and a registered teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers.

Shannon specializes in working with children, youth, adults, seniors, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, trauma, emotion regulation, attachment, self-esteem, social skills, parenting, and relationships.

She uses a client-centred approach with evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Dyadic Developmental Therapy (Level 1 & 2), and Narrative Therapy.
